A really stupid question...............

...........please don't shoot me down, but as someone who has never had anything to do with hunting, please could someone explain to me what 'cubbing' is.
Over the past few weeks I have tiptoed in here to read the posts ( loved the black & white photos) and I'm interested in learning more, thanks for reading this....... hurrying back to the corner to hide!!
