I am tentatively considering trying to sell the spawn of satan aka Milo the miniature shetland. I have absolutely no idea what sort of figure to ask for him, I was thinking maybe £150 but would love a few opinions.
He is about 12 or 13, stands at about 8 or 9hh and is grey. He had laminitis with his previous owner, and has the most peculiar knees - looks a bit like an oompa loompa, very bandy and always slightly unlevel at a trot, probably attributable to mild arthritis. Also has about 6 strands of hair for a tail so will never win any show classes. He is sweet to ride and for children to handle, 100% in every way except at feed times as you would expect with a little opportunist pony. He has a suprisingly large jump and would be a lot of fun for a small child to potter about on. I am considering staying at the yard Im currently lodging at, and so no longer need him as a companion to my horse. I dont have any decent pics, will obviously attempt to take a flattering one for his ad, but what would you price him at? Or should I be wondering what would be an acceptable sum to pay someone to take him away?
