A rug for all seasons ???

There's tones of reviews if you search (and some mentions on here) - heard of it recently so checked it out. The best I could find was that some people found they rubbed, and some said their friends swore by them. No first person accounts of them being wonderful, and few -ups from those who were 'giving them a try'. In the end I got bored and decided to stick to traditional rugs for now! Perhaps more time searching would turn up more positives tho.

It seems to work on the basis that as long as the horse is protected from the wind and wet, ANY horse has the ability to manage its body temperature at almost any temperature just by raising and lowering hairs. I can't see that myself, and of course it wouldn't work on anything clipped. I suspect it's just another product that will work brilliantly for some, but it certainly isn't the end of rugging worries!

I wouldn't buy it until one was made in thicker denier.
Can't see it being the end of rugging worries my tb doesn't grow enough fluff to keep him warm if he did he would be naked not in heavy weights in deep winter. Would work for my native tho
