The Dizz was due to have her teeth done today. The dentist was early (it was her day off, but she was doing me a favour). I'd left Dizz in last night so didn't need to trog through the fields to get her. I rang the vet, she was on her way. All going fine.

Two minutes later, vet rang me back. She'd had an emergency call - an old lad with colic. Rang me again to say she couldn't come, old lad was in a bad way and wasn't going to make it

So, no teeth done for the Dizz, but at least I still have her.

Thoughts to the person who lost her lad today. RIP old boy.

It's tough to lose an old friend that way. My husbands 26 yo died very suddenly through colic. We had owned him for 23 years and he had had colic once before when he was 7. He was fine at 5pm and gone by 7pm. To say we were shocked was and understatement.
RIP old fella.
