Sherman has to go. My husband was made redundant last June and there have just been no jobs at all (he's in the construction industry), he was able to do some self employed work for a while but that dried up just before christmas and he has not worked since. I work part time and we aren't really surviving.
I dont just need the money I spend on livery etc each month, but the money I will get from selling him, but dont know reallistically what to ask for him, obviously I need the best price I can get, but need to get it over with as quickly as possible so need to be sensible.
So, he is rising 8, full up 15hh hw coloured cob gelding (he is brown and white with a black mane and tail, not too much white, well marked and incredibly handsome, well I think so any way!) He is very, very safe and a confidence giver, which is the main reason I bought him in the first place, brilliant to hack alone and in company in any situation I have ever come across he has never scared me. He loves his jumping although he is green he is very willing and honest. I think he would make a good teenagers horse as he is great fun and with some one who doesnt just plod around like I do, I think he is capable of quite alot.
I have had him nearly two years and paid £3900 for him.
I never dreamed I would have to part with him but I dont see any way out of this, and I have just got to bite the bullet and do it. I feel sick typing this.
Sorry its so long and rambling, but your thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated.
