For any of you who remember the little mare that I "accidentally" came by when her previous owner bought a horse from a dodgy dealer and got this one delivered instead.
She was too much for the girl and she was going to be pts as she had kicked someone in the stable and I agreed to take her on. Well, I rode her at the weekend in walk and trot and she was a little angel! She started off "sidewaysie" and when asked to go in a straight line she wanted to leap forward into canter immediately but by the end of the 20 minutes or so she started to go very sweetly and was even leg yeilding and going in an outline.
I rode in a stock saddle just in case she threw a hissy fit but there was absolutely no attempt to buck, bolt etc and I felt remarkably safe.
There are pictures below- yes I know I ride like a sack of poop
so now I will be giving her a few weeks of chilling, then some hacking out then looking for a nice home for her.
