But today I have owned Moon for precisely 2 years
grin.gif

I bought her on the day of her first intro (we were eliminated 3 times though 2 were actually my errors!)

1 year later she did her first 1*

Good thankyou- blooming hard work but I have a pretty light timetable so plenty of time to waste during the day.
Hows yours going?

Fab job she looks brill! Isn't it great to see them progress like that

She's on the same timeframe as my big horse by the sounds of things - he's done intro to intermediate in 2 years (via 1 star) and is 7 this time. It's perfectly sensible with a trainable horse!

It's OK - Also got a very light timetable but unlike my old school the internet access is restricted so no facebook or photobucket for me
frown.gif
can still get on here though

I can imagine home is very tempting for you now- are all the horses in?
We get a very long lunch time so I get a mid-day pony fix

The only thing that worries me is where next?? I will need a year to have my horse properly consolidated at Intermediate (by which I mean happy to ride it round any Int in the country, big or small, and hopefully moving a bit closer to being placed). He may have an Advanced run in him but I do not truely believe that he is an Advanced horse and I'm sure he won't be a 3*/4* one.

Does this mean he'll spend what could theoretically (and with a following wind) be the next 10 years of his life competing at I/OI/AI/**? And if so could that get a bit dull??? Just a thought, and I have to say your mare looks to have a bit more scope than my horse. She's certainly a better 'type' for the job

I do think she'll go advanced so long as we both keep our confidence and trust in each other.
Otherwise, I plan to have tonnes of fun finding intermediate easy, doing a few 2*s, winning some money BSJA and then she can have babies!

Lol! My sister regrets allowing me to have Moon. Her loss though as she didnt spot her potential as a baby!
If you work with Sam at all then tell her you used to have a Kensons Aragorn horse as she still has Rizzle who's by him and would be thrilled. She'll probs try to get you to ride him.....
