Well, it's been 7 months since Daisy had her accidental litter, and I thought I'd do a brief update on how all the puppies are getting along :D I know my post in Soapbox raised a few eyebrows originally as it was an accidental breeding but all was well.

We're in contact with all the puppy owners via FB, emails and texts. They're all doing very well and proving themselves to be lovely family dogs, with a few hoping to start going out beating in the winter. They're also all little stunners, and several are the spitting image of either their dad or grandmother (the puppy we kept is her granny to the life!). So that's all lovely and makes us very :D

Now, the puppy we kept is proving to be a little madame in the extreme. She's very sweet and charming, but oh she's a monster at times. Poor Bertie is constantly being forced into play fights with her and he's too much of a softie to tell her where to go.

Bless. That first pic screams for a caption, 'He has brought you the ball, but I have brought you him - BY HIS EAR!' And that second pic is pretty much mischief personified!

Pictures like this are most unhelpful, I had just started to talk myself out of another spaniel as our next dog and into a nice black lab, now you have thrown me into turmoil again:mad::D

She is mischief, and then some! Poor Bertie is a horrendous wimp- he's her father, he needs to man up! Especially as he's twice her size- he's now big enough that when he jumps up (bad Bert!) he can put his paws on my shoulders nearly... However, he's much happier sitting on your lap and having a cuddle! He's a proper softy, whereas the mother tolerates people but will rarely seek out affection. She's brilliant with children, but happier doing her own thing.

Daisy (mum) being stern and disapproving... She's very regal!

I'm no help in the dissuading... We have 3 springers and love them all dearly- their boundless energy and affection is just so much fun to have about!!

You can have her but Bertie is too much of a mummy's boy to go anywhere :D He's sucha softie he spoons if he's managed to sneak into your room... If you kiss the side of his muzzle he pushes so close to you he's pretty much part of you :D We <3 Bertie!

Not so much Rosie and Daisy tonight. They found and eviscerated a dead (rotten) rabbit. Yummy!

Awwww Bertie sounds just like my Sweep:D:D:D he has always been a big softy and loves his cuddles:D So I am perfectly trained to look after Bertie.........;):D:D:D

As for the mingers - ooopsie I mean girls - you can keep them!:eek::rolleyes: I have a rank and disgusting Max who does that sort of thing........;):D:D:D
