Thankfully the horse has made a full recovery, but the pain she must have felt, doesn't bare thinking about.

Its an amazing recovery, but the fact it took three years makes me wonder whether it would have been kinder to put the poor mare to sleep What would even make someone think that was a suitable treatment????

i dont think they should have pts, look how happy she is now.

might have been very painful at the time but the fact the mare was eating and drinking would say to me she was coping
