I'm still knew to iPad and also confused about the three horizontal lines menu? :confused: sorry, I'm a total idiot when it comes to technology!

This is a screen shot, I have added a final notice stamp (not as a threat, it was all I could do on the ipad!) in the corner beside that, you will see the lines they may be a diffent colour on yours.

I know lol she is so cocky and sure of herself, bearing in mind he has only been a lead rein pony since Jan and only long reined for a week last month, I prefer she at least looks where she is going lol!

He's a superstar, we were out for an hour an 40 minutes and he kept pace with a 13.1 welsh cob (several times daughter instructed me to trot faster cos we were too slow!!)

On one hand yes but on the other I have the next three ponies already bought (up to a 14.1 so ya know lol!)

She is only just 4 and weighs nothing. I'm not sure a crupper would make much difference. The saddle is floating on his winter coat which is coming out rapidly currently. I have some grip stuff to try under it tomorrow. The girth is the shortest available and the girth straps have extra holes. Nothing fits him without adjusting it to be as small as possible (he is only 32" ish). His bridle is for a mini but its too big too and needed adjustment.

I was just thinking I'm not convinced she hasn't grown since the last vid!

ps I love the durururururuur as she bounces on his trot near the end :D

Yes I think he is too good to sit in a field so once she has out grown him he will have to have a new child to teach how to ride. Hopefully not for a while - you know her nearly 5ft8 mother rides a 14.1 :o:p

She's not very keen on bothering to rise to the trot (perhaps impossible at that speed!) any suggestions to encourage her?
 
Awww - both adorable. And your hacking is fab. Don't know if it's possible to rise to the trot on a Titchy until her little legs strengthen up and even then.. Unless she does 2 or 3 beats up and 2/3 beats down to start off with.
 
That is a brill vid, the pair of them are doing so well :) I learnt to ride at the age of 7 and was a very small child for my age, I rode a little shetland and can remember that trotting was similar to watching my mums sewing machine :D I doubt of mini FW will manage to rise for a while yet!

If you could get her stirrups down a hole she might find trot easier. ATM the saddle is floating on pony and daughter is floating on the saddle. She needs to be sitting in the saddle and not on it, if that makes sense. I imagine rising trot must be very hard with his little legs going nineteen to the dozen, but it would make his life more comfortable if she could manage it for a short while.

I dont often click on vid links as computer hates them, but I always have to click on Titchy links xx
 
Ahh! So lovely to watch - my daughter used to sing nursery rhymes when she was riding at that age and I love your choice of music.
 
Have you tried a pad saddle rather than a cub? The cub saddle tends to send their weight back slightly (into a sort of chair position), making it harder to rise, a pad saddle doesn't, it will fit the pony better soon, I'm getting rid of my cub saddle as soon as daughter is 3 ( she is only 2 atm and still needs the safety/secureness of it, but at 3 pad saddle all the way. The suede ones are grippy and still has a handle and your daughter has good balance
