Pony 1- 1 month Registered New Forest Colt. Steel Grey with White blaze. No scrars, markings or vices. Totally easy to do- acts like an adult. Good to catch, trim, clip, bath, load etc.

Totally unfazed by anything. He has been to three shows and always in the top 4- these have been in all strong classes of between 10-17 entrants.
He has qalified Royal London twice and traileblazers once and the ASS championship show three times.

Very straight movement- good confo - very to type.

Pony 2- 1 month Appaloosa x Blagdon V Cob gelding. currently stands at 12.3hh expected to make 14.2hh but chunky fella. Really unusual markings.Easy to do - but unshown to date.

Both are vaccinated/wormed etc.
This is heartbreaking but the house we rented that came with a field is sooooooo poorly drained and so churned up do to tracters having been going through it prior to our arrival that its unuseable. We cant put Pony 1 in livery as he is a colt- so he has to go. I dont have time for livery either - I have to be in work by 7.30 am and finish at 5.30am and live 45min from work so its just not plausable before people start reccomending this option.
 
Could you not try and find other type ponies for them to live with. There is a guy near my folks who has 'herd' type of 1, 2, 3yo and keeps them for other people.
 
I just dont have the time to travel to other parts of the county. We live 15 min drive from the nearest town anyway - so not really- livery of any kind is not an option. In fact we ONLY chose this house because of the land and were willing to live in the middle of nowhere because we could have the ponies. We dont have any neighbours for at least 1/4 mile just to illustrate.

I just want to know how much to advertise on Horsemart/Horsequest for so they can go ASAP before they contract mud fever etc. Beleive me this field is not suitable for horses right now in this state.
 
Sadly, I don't think they are worth a lot. Revised because you've added their age, maybe no more than £500, but coming into winter a lot less. The colt should be gelded to improve his chances of finding a new home, unless you are sure he is breeding quality.
Why not put them on (the much maligned) Project Horses website? That doesn't cost much at all.
Also, there must be a NF owners group you could advertise on.
 
wow these are really low prices- When I bought the cob I really struggled to find anything under £1000!!! that was half decent. I should have accepted the £1200 I was offered for the Newfie at Harolds Park show last month. Gutted - Oh well its not the money that I want- Ijust want them off thefield into somewhere nice.
 
i think you'd get more especially for the appaloosa, i'd take him off you for £500 in a flash if i could afford 2 horses. good luck such a shame. x
