I have five dogs and they are often referred to by names that are not their correct names. For example, there is The Mother - top dog, The Slayer - self explanatory, The Princess - deluded, thinks she is born from Royalty, Sturdy - overgrown terrier and finally, Olly Lolly Loo Lair - simpleton. Just wondering if it is just me or if others have nicknames for their pooches?

Collectively, everyone (friends, neighbours, dog club) knows them as The Asbo Twins

Also, OI YOU! Bo...Bel...YOU TWO! THAT ONE!

I am ashamed to admit that mine dont actually have many nicknames

I am sure they should have them

Islay is Black Shiny Greyhound or BSG for short, she is also sometimes referred to as Liebling if she is being very honoured - it was my nickname for Jura, my old brindle greyhound, and I think (hope!) it means darling

Islay and Jura are quite similar in personality, so I think Islay deserves the accolade

Flick unfortunately gets Ickle Flickle when she is being good, and "that bl**dy dog" for most of the time

Oh dear, Flick has just fallen gracefully off the sofa as I was typing this, and I laughed

The girls are often when walking just collectively 'GIRLS'!

The best nickname I know is my friends vizz Archie. They call him beadle or archie beadle as in 'watch out beadles about!!' Makes me laugh everytime
