I'm beginning to wonder if they've banned hunting in this country...

It's nearly hunting season, so you'd think Mum would have us clipped and fit, and ready to go.... or I would anyway. But, instead, we are both still fluffy, naked and I haven't seen a hill in weeks... Mum only hacked us out last weekend, and Peter was laughing at how much Mud Tom has managed to get into his coat. He does look silly, there's more mud than horse there!

then Mum said she is going hunting in Ireland this weekend, which just adds to my concern that it's been banned. I'm hoping that we'll get clipped when she gets back, and that for some reason we'll just be having a late start to the season.

any ideas anyone?
big bucket of sugar beet mash if you get this far, and top it up with oats if you've got an answer!!

Dexter says :

Kick her up the bum

, she clearly is trying to hoodwink you into not having your fun, but does not mind having hers.

Drop her in the mud and see how she likes being covered init.

Sorry Jenhunt, just seen Dexters message, I will be kicking HIM up the bum, you have a great time in Ireland, I am jelous

Dear Ron,

Sugarbeet mash? Sounds looooovely!! I'm always fluffy, even when we go fun places and get to run really really fast. So maybe your Carrot Lady has decided to let you keep your fluffy fur this winter? It's really useful! It means you don't have to wear those annoying blanket thingies that make the scitchy sounds and rub on your shoulders. I hope you get to go run around soon, anyway!

Carrots,
the Spooky Pony
