A very funny list of unusual horse laws!

*In the state of Queensland, Australia, it is still constitutional law that all pubs (hotel/bar) must have a railing outside for patrons to tie up their horse. *Pattonsburg, Missouri, Revised Ordinances, 1884: "No person shall hallo, shout, bawl, scream, use profane language, dance, sing, whoop, quarrel, or make any unusual noise or sound in such manner as to disturb a horse."

I think these should be law here!!

I used to have a hackney carriage liscence, for our horse drawn wagon, and was once told that it was still leagle for me to releave myself by a nearside wheel, i never needed to though.

I think hope this is a typo - it would be very difficult to drive with a bale of hay on your cap!! LOL!!

*In London, England, law required taxi drivers to carry a bale of hay on top of their caps to feed their horses. The law was in force until 1976.
