Very self indulgent...and over very little to most people but I am so happy this evening
I took my mare into our jumping field today and we went round a few fences in a very sensible manner without any rushing off.
I was suppose to do a clear round a few weeks ago and was really worried about it because she can be a nightmare with rushing off after fences, avoiding fences at the last minute etc and before this I had put off jumping her for about a year. Anyway she was ill two days before so I couldn't do it but since she got better I have been taking it step by step (or jump by tiny jump) and today we did a small course with no spooking (her or me

and have been ever since!
No excuses for me to not do the clear round next weekend now! Fingers crossed that she does not do anything silly to herself in the meantime!
