Self indulgent post I'm afraid
Equine Twiglet has been off work for a few weeks after a foot abscess led to a leg infection which in turn meant his back was sore - after having his back done last week, today was the first chance to ride him in daylight again and he feels sooooo much better
He was schooling nicely and was his usual hyper self hacking round the farm, we had spins and spooks aplenty! Feels so good to have him back to his usual self and not laid low and feeling sorry for himself.
Last night I also met the head girl from the stud where he was bred and she remembered him from 17 years ago! Was so lovely to hear of him as a foal and to see his brother in action at Addington last night.
Then this morning had the pleasure of a lovely hack in the sunshine with FinnMcCoul, me riding BB's Winston who is the biggest gent ever.
Then we went to the Bicester and Whaddon hunt meet to see them off - was a lovely day for it.
So all in all a fab weekend so far
