Having cancelled last weeks training session due to his limp we have just been today. It was his last session of a puppy foundation course.
We went into the indoor area as the normal fields were under water. This was more distracting than ever as it bordered the day care kennels and other people were in and out a lot.
He was as usual super good. His heel work is getting really nice and his recall was so good they went to borrow another puppy to try and distract him. Still he was really good.
Ended by the trainer telling us that he was about the best puppy by the end that she’s ever done the class with
This is without me doing anywhere near as much as advised due to his leg.
I have done heel practise as I figured walking on a lead for 5 minutes here and there complied with the vets controlled movement instruction.
Aside from this we have done away with trying to crate him. I trust all the dogs together enough now and since chucking that he’s slept all night, been sound, dry and clean and just generally seemed happier! He’s put in weight and looks great.
So so proud of the little chap. He has without a doubt been the hardest most stressful puppy I’ve ever had but I really do think now with some more Input from me he’s going to be the best ever- *trained/behaviour I mean. Obviously Cece is always number 1
