Hey everyone,

after speaking to o/h last night we have decided to sell our mare and foal as hubby wants to start riding again.
So how much can we ask for : -
14.2 skewbald mare, 8 years old, evenly marked, cob type, lovely paces, confirmation and temperament, was ridden before having 3 foals, would need re starting due to that break, (was ridden by novice hubby fine) good in traffic, clip, shoe, box etc etc not mareish &
bay colt 2 months old, part bred arab 3 white socks and blaze already leading and picking up feet, very good confirmation and really friendly, would make good riding horse, has one wall eye (feel i should mention this as some ppl dont like it)
so how much guys

but i can see where he is coming from, we have to move yards soon too which is going to be a nightmare and I just feel we havent got the time to do them justice at the moment plus Im riding coblet most days and o/h is very jealous as he wants to be riding out with me (he wants a black cob 4 white socks and a blaze) not too much detail!! lol
any ideas on the price for them? I would re start the mare myself but havent got any facilities to do so

I expect you have looked on Horsemart. There is a nice coloured on there with a cracking coloured filly foal at foot for £2600. But there are some others on there for very little money I am afraid. Perhaps £2000? But I'm absolutely no expert. Shame you can't keep her and rebreak her for your hubby to ride, but I am sure you have considered that. Hope she sells and your hubby gets his "wish list".

Thats exactly what me and my mum have priced them at.
I know it will be awful to sell them but we just dont have t, but would put or nearest offer. Its just time and money is getting a bit tighter due to saving for our wedding. I would love to keep her and re start but unfortunately there is no where we can do that as we are not permitted to excercise the horses in the field and the paddock is so uneven im not willing to lunge her etc in there
