A very sad state to be in. How many do you have?

I have only got one pair of reins to my name!
Five bridles, two ridable horses but only one set of reins, how have I managed that? I had to ride yesterday with lead reins (not even matching) Whatever possessed me to sell 20 years worth of accumulated tack and useful junk before I came over here

Now I will absolutely have to go to the Saddlery this weekend.

How many bridles do you have for your horse?

Hit ebay, you know you want to!!!!!!!!!

I now have 4 bridles, 1 cheapo for the yard (£5 on ebay) my best (a Stubben) then I have a 'practice' double and a best double, need more bits though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have millions of girths, all the wrong size

SSM........Good Morning, Canadian eBay is the absolute pits

For such a whacking great country you'd think that if you did a search for reins (Canada only) you'd come up with more than a dozen wouldn't you? Nope

Why not do a worldwide search - postage prices aren't always that high. I know OH sells lots of things on Ebay to places all over the world. I take the items to the Post Office and have been surprised how reasonable the worldwide postal charges are.

I have masses of spares and am terrible for buying 2nd hand kit. Only one bridle per horse though, except for Sienna who has a jumping bridle, a dressage bridle, and a double - only because I can't be bothered to change bits.
Am always dumfounded with the concept of best tack..... people that use a really smart fantastically well maintained bridle for poncing around at shows and a tatty, foreign leather, old one for galloping around the countryside & riding on the road..........

I am dreadful with anything when it comes to my horse! No wonder I never have any money!! I spent yesterday morning cleaning bridles and mum brought my neice over to see May and was amazed I had four - everyday one, dressage bridle, SJ Bridle, stubben one that is also a double for shows, hunting, fun rides etc - good job she did't see the other two I have at the yard as well!!!!!!!!!!

Need to get out more and stop ebaying!

I have one everyday bridle, 1 jumping bridle, 1 dressage bridle and 1 double bridle and parts of many other bridles so could probably make another 2 bridles! got quite a few pairs of reins i think.

Too many bridles, have four horses, three that are rideable and they all have a everyday bridle, a best show bridle, then I have a double bridle and a hunting bridle which fit all, also have a magnetic headpiece bridle which fits two of my girls and have millions of numnah and saddlecloths...

Hi Heidi, your magnetic bridle is it a Barnsby? I bought one as suposed to be a calming one - don't think mine works!!

I've got 5 bridles and two horses, but I am known to be a "hoarder" and have at least 20 numnahs?? and about 15 head collars, no idea why??

Instead of alcohol annonymous, need numnahs annonymous!!

I have 3 bridles and 4 sets of reins (the spare set is for his show pelham)

I have only had my horsey a year though so I can be let off for sounding so organised

Don't get Dub's started on this one!!!! lol

She cleaned out her tack cupboard yesterday and found stuff she never knew she had!!!!! (not cheap stuff either!!lol)

As for me I seem to have loads of stuff but never what I need! lol

But to me you never know what you will need and when, so I keep the lot! lol

Plus I have just bought a rather nice Keiffer bridle for my mare! lol

Have 2 full bridles - one older one, one comfort that was supposed to be for 'good' and is used every day so may have to get another......and another two sets of reins - usually leave reins attached to the bits they are used with (need a shorter pair for the 3 ring) so that I'm not attaching and reattaching lots of stuff....

Archie has one snaffle bridle.

Bloss has a snaffle, a double (currently being sold on ebay) and another double type that i hack her out in which has her french link rugby pelham on.

I've got three bridles for Patches!

Sabre Cordoba, Treadstone padded bridle and a cheapie leather one I use for lungeing.

Never use the rubber reins though that come with them so I actually have a stock pile of reins!

Easy this one! We don't have a tack room at the yard, just a locked box so the tack I keep up there is worth all of about £60 - I would always forget to bring a piece of tack up with me - plus Donkey has to look smart out hunting!!!!

I 'think' I have 3 bridles, one with the hackamore, one with the snaffle and one double. Might have another in bits in the draw at home though.

Don't have enough sets of reins, I have had to borrow bridoon reins from the yard

I also have about 3 martingales, all too big and about 3 girths, also all too big. Where does all this junk come from?
