Can anyone help with a shopping mission?

I'm after a long winter boot that will stand up to being worn up to 15 hours a day, working on the yard, mucking out 30 + stables, and then being attacked with a hosepipe to clean up so I can ride a few horses! (don't want much!)

I usually swear by traditional hunter wellies for yardwork, but then there's always that brrrrr moment of changing into cold leather riding boots, and brrrr back again into cold wellies! So I thought of treating myself to something that could do both. And must look smart and presentable. And not muck boots, because I just think they look awful.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Ooh, and there is a bargainous pair on a certain auction website too..... thanks for the tip - couldn't afford them full price I don't think!

This weekend I bought a long pair of Dr Martens zip up boots. I bought them for fashion, but very nortily wore them for riding, yesterday and they are absolute heaven for field and riding! I'm sorely tempted to buy a second pair for yard stuff! They're the Gianna model and cost £120 from the shop. Probably available online, too and they look smart!

Another vote for Ariat Conistons I'm afraid (go on, you know you want to ;)) I lived in mine throughout the last winter and had warm, dry, toasty feet. Definately the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned.
