RC had a points show today and one of our younger members was a bit deflated at being pulled in last. Of the others above her in the line three out of the four, all had jackets older than her! :eek: :D :D A case of age and guile beating youth and enthusiasm :p :D

As to age of my gear... I wouldn't be able to get into any of it even if I hadn't given it all away over time.

The little one would probably be able to camp out in my black jacket... :rolleyes::eek:

In my experience it seems to be the other way around, kids beating the adults by miles. Too many speedy ponies!
My black jacket is 21 years old, (and only been woren a handful of times)
 
The hacking jacket I wore yesterday is 25 years old :eek: , first bought to go autumn hunting and one of the other riders was telling me her 'best' show jacket is 20. the lovely girl who was pulled in last in the equitation is only 19 and was a bit dissapointed to be beaten by the old ladies. At least she can think that her time will come :)
