It really depends on how "warm" a pony she is - mine is fully clipped and out 24/7 in a 40g rug, but he is the hottest pony I've ever known - I think he has his own central heating system!
our other horse is also in a 40g but she has a low trace clip and is very hairy on top. she is just about warm enough.
sorry not very helpful, but you need to think about what she's normally like!

I think she will probably be fine, it's not like she's unclipped and wearing a HW rug :) but whether she is or isn't there's not much point worrying about it now is there!?! :D

I think she'll be fine. I went to check my unclipped ned just now, he's in full neck HW (he's ripped his MW) and was absolutly fine.

Use something like Accuweather if you don't already as that gives the "feels like" temperature as well as the actual temperature. It is really cold out there in the winds today, sure she'll be fine.

Whenever you are in doubt then I would use a rug with no neck. That way they can sweat and it can evaporate producing cooling. Even if they are clipped, the neck can be left. Nothing worse than worrying all day about overheating horse.
