Pointless and self-indulgent ego-manical post but had a fab sesh on William tonight! He had his wolf teeth (all 3 over-sized blighters) out 10 days ago, and then had the chiro last week too, so it's been pretty frustrating (oh, and the hackamore incident). So today jumped him preoperly for the first time in ages, as the ground is actually decent. Did some fun stuff, and had an upright all on it's lonesome in the middle of the field which we put up, and up again, and he was pinging! Unfortunately I scraped one thumb nail down the back of the other hand and took a load of skin off and bled all over the place, and it really stings now. But he finished off by clearing a 140 upright by about a foot! So pleased with him - and quite pleased with myself as it's a while since I jumped something like that and I wasn't fiddling - just got the right stride each time! A work-experience guy filmed it on his phone so will see if it's possible to upload it tomorrow. Good boy Wills - it's not too often I say that - but honestly he's been a little angle since the teeth have come out, a much less angry person altogether.
