A year ago yesterday...

I took this picture:

Teal was rehomed through here with his Dad Will.

Will went to sleep peacefully surrounded by food and having a cuddle on 13/09/11 aged 15.

Today these pictures were taken

I am a bit worried I have managed t make him go grey!!

Bit out of season Mr (was frozen)

And with the rest of the gang (excuse Dylan in this pic, he was excited)

We are starting regualr gun dog classes in March, cannot wait, he took a long time to settle and listen and just be at ease in him self, so feel ready to start training now. We have had to do a lot of work with regards to other dogs, hes still rude (barking etc) but quite happily goes up to say hi and can be let off lead now.

Teal was 4 in sept. Can't believe I have had the overgrowb black spangle for a year!!

He has reasonable heel work, quartering, recall, steadyness is what we needs to work on. He's been out at a private farmers shoot sat behind the guns, retrieved the one and only bird I hit! And was quite happy on a drive so hopefully it's more me than him that needs work, he will only go out at this shoot with friends etc as he is a pet to me.
