I got up this am and tried no painkillers and it failed. Saw Jim and Jelly in their field and went to get the in. had to make Jelly's b fast and that hurt them went to Jims stable and had to pull the bank over the mess that was his bed to at least try and let some on the wet get soaked up by the drier shavings, and this really hurt and if anyone found out I did it I would be in big trouble.
Got the horses in and took rugs off, it hurt and jelly pushed me at one point and I got angry and hit her, which was a completely horrid thing to do but my back spasmed when she pushed me and I as only trying to get her fly mask off. so gave her a oh my goodness I am a terrible human being cuddle, and hated myself and left, in a serious amount of pain and wet back to bed.
I was so desperate to do jims feet, sort his bed which is just so wet and smelly, give him some hayledge and also brush him. I think I am asking to much of the owner of Jim who I loan him off. Its been 5 days now and I cannot see an end in sight.
I am thinking I should ask her to see if she can take them back to her friends where they were for a week to eat the grass down, so that jim can be out 24/7. She cant turn him away here as we have no grass and I actually cant see me being back in action for at least another week. not being able to muck out, poo pick, brush etc. She keeps the polo ponies at another yard too, where she might be able to take them short term, but they dont have a school there. What do you think? it means Jim wont get looked after well, but at least he will be out 24/7 with grass which is better than coming in to a stinky stable and hay, and it will also take pressure of my friend.
Really am not sure what to do so all thoughts, advice welcome.
