So last winter my cob went into it carrying a bit of extra weight...don't worry YO said, she will lose it over winter. Did she heck as like! Came out fatter I reckon..I hadn't had her over a winter so didn't know what to expect. She got even fatter last summer due to box rest for arthritis etc...so
This year I was ready. Stopped YO giving her haylage for brekky (she is on half livery), only put a handful of haylage in her small holed night net. Weight taped today and she has lost 35k in past three months!! Yay. Just so happy as she is looking great at the moment!
