A49 Road Conditions

Hi, does anybody know what the A49 is like? Is it travelable? Supposed to be travelling back home today.

The A49 is usually well gritted, (I'm in the Herefordshire section) but the smaller roads round here are like ice rinks, I haven't seen them this treacherous for a long time. I left the car at home to go to the yard and saw several cars skidding. I hope you have a safe journey if you decide to go.

Seems fine in the north shropshire part but depends which bit you are travelling, I know gritting varies from county to county.

Thanx for the help, I made it home the road was clear didnt see any snow. The worst bit was the sun in my eyes.
