Got back on Alf today, for the first time in a very long time! First I was broken, then he was! He had a lovely potter round the block

Then he disgraced himself by getting a bit fruity with the ladies! I had to stop filming a bit sharpish!

There were many snacks! I was so happy to be back on board, after not being sure it was going to be possible, that I let him get away with even more snacking than usual!

My Draft horse loved rosebay willow herb. She once held up the traffic to pick a stem and then waved it at the waiting driver by way of explanation - cheeky madam! That horse had a personality to match her build- which was mahoosive!

Annoyingly, I broke myself again later in the day. Went over on my ankle (4th time in three weeks!) and spent the evening on the sofa with an icepack! I'm less sore than I expected to be this morning, as long as I don't bend my ankle inwards, so hoping I'm fit enough to ride still!
