Right, any wisdom appreciated! Decided L needs more PN runs - he'd get found out round a Novice at the moment. So, not going to Keysoe, think I might still be jetlagged! Then there's Aston the following week, with Novice and PN on separate days, then Mattingley the following week, with N and PN on sperate days AGAIN! Would really like to amuse myself by doing the special IN at Mattingley (May 18th) on William. The question is, do I do both events in the PN on Liberty, or do I give William a run in the Novice at Aston or what? Aaargh! Money isn't that plentiful, nor is S' amusement at being hauled out of bed on the two days he can have a lie-in! Particularly two weekends in a row.

Oh, and on a different tangent - been asked to do some fun stuff on one of the hunters I worked with over the winter. Was thinking MKEC 3de would be fun for owners to aim him for (don't think it's worth them shelling out for BE reg, his dr will be seen through). Height wouldn't be an issue, so does anyone know which of the 3 classes is most-balloted? Or least-balloted rather, then I'll enter that one!

Thanks for tolerating incoherent ramble....

If S doesnt want to accompany you at Aston i can help

ie i will meet you there...

I think you need to aim William at the IN at Mattingley.

Aston N is a nice one, be fun for william, which with his occasional confidence issues wouldnt her him. L would find PN at Aston again, fairly straightforward, which might be a good thing if youve been away on holiday... set him up nicely for Mattingley which although lovely does have a lot to look at.

Well not sure if the budget will stretch to it, but from a time-management pov I could enter the Thursday Nov at Aston, then go back up at the weekend on Lib with S (obv he wouldn't be there on the thurs as working day). Then do both at Mattingley, but again, S wouldn't be there for W as is on the Friday. Will have to be organised! And think of all the tack cleaning

The classes with the smallest number of sections at MKEC last sept was the open, so guessing the least entries.

Get them posted the day before entries open to get a place, first come first served.

Entries have already been open a week or two, so missed that boat. Would be nice to have a go, will talk to owners tomorrow. Thanks for info. You doing it this year?

On different note, have entered Aston PN on Lib, and Mattingley PN and IN. William will just have to lump it, haven't got the cash to run him at Aston too.

The special IN do the 2* test is that right?
That will be fun, are you allowed to get all kitted out in top hat and tails?

'Tis the only reason I'm doing it Boss - I miss wearing them!

. In the past fortnight he's learnt travers, but turn on the haunches doesn't happen yet.... And simple changes might just be a handbrake stop then off on the other leg. And the loopy counter canter thingy down the centre line might include some changes.... He may yet get pinned down in a double in order to do this! Def having those pesky wolf teeth out before we go there.
