Im so so happy! after all my careful consideration into retirement etc for my horse Ive just had a coffee with my wonderful back lady and she has made a suggestion that we build up the muscles in my horses back starting with just carrot stretches then in spring a pessoa etc See how things are at this point.
Possibly inject his back with cortisone to help his mild ks then again see how things go building up more strength.
All this with the view that in the future I MAY be able to ride him again (I may not due to a previous wither injury)
I will know ive done everything possible if this time next year he's still too sore to ride then he will certainly be completely retired and spoilt.... but a tiny little bit of hope is a very wonderful happiness inducing thought! :-D Happy days
