My big grey has gone lame again, and I was posting in the hope that someone might be able to shed some light or if they had seen anything similar before.
The background:
He was lame on his left hind (2/5) following MK (2). Went to vets to have the lameness worked up, and it was narrowed down to the fetlock. However, there has never been any heat/swelling in the region. X-rays were also taken of the region and they were commensurate with a horse of his age. Pony was injected with HA acid into the region and sent home to be brought back into work gradually.
Now 4 weeks down the line he is lame again on the near hind. His work levels have been light (gentle hacking and schooling). Vet is coming out on Monday so we can discuss next steps.
Has anyone ever come across anything like this before? At the moment I am frustratingly scratching my head
