Hi,

does anyone in the Aberdeen area know of any yards that could take a stallion for a few days full livery until i could arrange transport down to England?

Also, a transport company who could pick up the horse from the place in Aberdeen, and take him to the temp yard for me?

maybe try errolsten equestrian centre its at cruden bay. Scott sinclair is the guys name he is really good think he has a selle francais stallion and does livery for pretty much any horse dont know the phone number but if you google it its probably a half hr drive from aberdeen good luck x

did a quick search on google for stud scotland abederdeen came up with craigmancie mfs marrus and carridden a few might be at the sale anyway craigmancie seems to be the closest on google maps. so phone the mobile numbers of there are any.

they called me back to do the phone bid and i pulled out as i hadnt got fixed up, 10 minutes later i had a call from someone who could have done it for me as one of the others they were bidding on they didnt get - hey ho, so is life! He made a decent price so hopefully he has a good home awaiting him.

Oh which one were you intereseted in - just looking at the catalogue on another post. So sad there were so many really old horses for sale

Was going to recommend Craigmancie Stud, its very near me and has several stallions. Transport-wise, Gillies is the only one I have used and know of.

It was Roo i was interested in, i've heard one or two things about some of the otheres to put me off - was going to risk buying blind also! he went above what i would have risked for an unseen purchase so i guess it just wasnt meant to be
