Aberdeenshire folks - Ron Aiken (also in SB)

I heard through the grapevine last night that farrier Ron Aiken was very seriously ill in ARI hospital and has been in for a number of weeks now.

Apparently Gemma his partner is updating her facebook page with news but since I don't know her surname it's hard to find it! Thousands of Gemmas!

Anyone know anything about how he is doing? I'd like to send him a card and message.

From what I heard it's pretty critical and he's in a bad way.

Hope I didn't contribute to it with all the hot pies and fine pieces I fed him when he was my farrier!
