Just to clarify for any peeps that read the recent BBC news online item about the new bridge over the river Dee at Braemar.
The article described the bridge as for 'walkers and cyclists'.
However I have been in touch with the community trust involved with the plans and they have confirmed that horseriders have been taken into account and the new bridge will definitely be accessible for horses .
Yay! Good for them!
Since the planning app hasnt yet gone in, we cant tell how white knuckle it might be in practice )) , but it is good news that despite being fewer in number than the walkers we havent been forgotten.
