abnormal blood test and urine test

Had a phone call from the vet, Jake's urinalysis showed very very raised protein and slightly raised urea!

Jake is being starved for 12 hours from Tuesday night and will have another blood test Wednesday morning. Please all send positive vibes for him.

My cat was pts in June with kidney disease and am so worried that Jake is going to go the same way.

I do not know what to do with myself.

know where your at - it's a horrible place waiting for blood tests isn't it. i've had 3 pets pts ( horse, dog and cat) in the last year and now my new horse is ill. positive vibes coming to you from the west country - hope jake shows an improvement. x
p.s be carefull in your day to day life as last time i had all this on my mind i crashed my car into the school gates! just wasn't thinking straight.

Thanks Tallyhohoho - I do not know how you coped. Positive vibes also to you for your poorly horse too. I will try to be careful, thanks for the warning. I am cant think of anything else other than Jake's kidneys.

I waited 30 years to have a horse and Jake was my 30th birthday pressie. x
