Title: ABANDONED HORSE

A Grey Colt 12.2 horse with head collar and lead has been abandoned in
a
field in the Ford area between 18.00 pm yesterday and 07.00 am today.
If
anyone has any information or knows who the horse belongs to, please
contact Arundel Police Station ot call 0845 60 70 999 and quote serial
291 03/07/08.
 
This has come direct from Sussex Police, We have a text and email alert in this area.
I have also recieved an email from Sussex Horse Watch.
So I think all the main bodies would know about it by now. Thanks for asking.
 
I was thinking that - or it had got away from somebody and found it's own way there - but then I'm sure someone would've gone to the police etc if that had happened.
 
Bit strange to abandoned a horse with a lead rope trailing from it? Maybe kids were messing about with someone else's horse and paniced leaving him loose? Maybe actual owner doesn't visit horse daily (

) so doesn't know he's missing yet. Know it's disgusting but it could happen. Hope he finds a good home whatever the story is. Poor thing.
