Swift is just 4 and I trained her up for my husband to run. That hasnt worked out so i took over the reins at comps again last season and she has had a couple of wins. She is by Bobby Henderson's Bill.

Your dogs are so cute and can jump really high.My dog also loves jumping and going to dog shows and agility courses. Her biggest achiement was winning Muddog Super Dog agility course against nineteen other dogs.My dog can not jump as high as you dogs and that little puppy is so cute.

thanks guys :D i am biased of course, but i do luv my babies.

- technically, in agility its not about jumping high;) the maximum height for standard size dogs, like BC's is only 65cm. All the jumps on the course will be set at that height, the heights dont vary like in SJ, and grade 1 dogs that are at their very first show will still be jumping this height.

For dogs that measure in as small or medium, the height is obviously lower and their are different classes for them.

actually, when i started out the max height was near 2ft6, but a few years back the FEI brought the KC in line with them and reduced it.

Fantastic action shots. I love watching Collies in action. Do you think you'd ever go down in size and opt for a Sheltie or something?

The photo of the smooth-haired pup made my jaw drop. We always knew my sister-in-law's dog was part Collie, but I think we can now definitely say she is part *smooth* collie! (When she's not in chill mode, the ears are the same as your dog's.)

What great pictures and lovely dogs. I am so glad you mentioned heights had changed for jumps, when I was competing they were 2'6". I've thought a few times when I've seen recent pics that the jumps looked lower but decided it was just me. Agility has changed so much over the years, when I was competing the levels were starters, novice and senior. I got my first 2 GSDs to senior but after that the younger dogs struggled as they didn't have the speed against collies although were consistently clear, it seems the new system is much fairer, the top dogs still rise to the top but the others get something to show for their ability.

Fabulous pictures :)

At what age do you start training them?

aww thank you! really, training starts at about 10 weeks - but that's all foundation work. They aren't allowed to compete until they are 18 months.

wow! well done you! takes a lot to get an ABC up the grades!

They wouldn't be my breed of choice (couldn't be doing with all that hair) but they are gorgeous and I love to see them do agility. They seem to really enjoy it.

I love the rebel in the first picture :p. All the others are looking where they are meant to be and that one (sorry, couldn't work out name) is looking at the camera :D.

Now that's a pack of dogs to be proud of!

Fantastic pics. Never had much to do with Collies but can see the attraction.

They all look in their element :)
