...I introduced myself after 32 posts!
I live in Cheltenham, I'm 22 & own a rather loopy at times chestnut New Forest mare. Have had her since she was 2 & she is rising 11 now so she is well & truly part of the family.
She's a cheeky little thing but the kindest animal I've known. She was fully broken at 2 by her breeder which damaged her back so when she came to me she had physio, was turned away for a year/18 months to mature which is when I re-broke her. Unfortunately I haven't been able to do as much as I'd like to have done with her because of hip replacements, luckily I have a younger sister who shares her with me & takes her jumping & for fast fun when she needs it.
Because of the complications with my joints I'm hoping to get into side saddle riding as I've heard it's a far more comfortable way to ride. So if anybody in the area knows of a good side saddle instructor it would be hugely appreciated if you could let me know.
So that's me! I've really enjoyed seeing all your cuties & reading some interesting threads, hopefully I'll be able to contribute as much
