Hi all
Bit of a long shot, but I was googling some of our old horses on the weekend and amazingly came across an army blog with the artwork of Captain Sophie Whitaker, and a picture of her old TB Abrigo. My grandparents bred Abrigo ( and his dam line back 3 generations) and when he first came out of training as a 4/5 yr old he lived with us and I used to ride him. He went back into training a few years later, and after my grandparents passed away we lost track of him when their horses were sold.
I've often thought of him, and wondered where he ended up. I've left a comment on the blog in question but had no reply - so I wondered if, long shot, anyone knew of a Captain Sophie Whitaker, who owns an elderly bright bay TB gelding called Abrigo who would be 26 now!
Nothing ventured nothing gained, we'd just love to hear how he is.
Many thanks
