so mums oh comes home from work today and told me skye went for him  didnt quite believe that so when i asked him what happened, he said he went to feed them in the morning, which they never get fed mornings, lulu skye ted n ty were all in together as the wind had blown down a bit of boarding onto a fence.

so he fed them, and was trying to get lulu to come up to him with a bucket.... after all the others had finished. skye apparently was following him, bugging him for the bucket, which any horse would.... kept harshly nudging him for the bucket and chasing lulu off, so instead of tying her up - like i told them to, he said he punched her in the face!!:eek: im so tempted to tell him to **** off with his horse out of my side of the field. but i know his two will kick the crap out of the poor thing. im so bloody angry!!!

just had it out with him, he said he would do it again if she does it!

i really want to move now but i cant afford to, and ive been at my field for 4 years and horses are settled :(

I'm sorry but there's no way I would stay somewhere where (I'm guessing he's the YO?) punched my horse in the face, showed no remorse and said that he'd do it again!! They might be settled but you have to take other aspects into consideration, the last thing you want is for her to become head shy.

i literally cant afford to move for at least another month. its a 10 acre field split in two with electric fencing. landy lady rents it out to us, mum and her oh rent one side i rent the other. currently their foal is in with my mares as their two would kick the crap out of her. ive told them to take the bloody thing out my field and told mum he is to go no where near mine or i will punch him in the head.

its really hard, and awkward. and we live under the same roof too. mum has told him hes out of order, he doesnt seem to care. he has a temper on him and as manly as i am, i wouldnt be able to hold my own in a scrap with him lol. could punch him in his sleep i guess

Since you're living in the same house it would definitley be revenge by stealth. I would start with the laxitive chocolate tart and move onto the hair removal cream in his shampoo, followed by itching powder in his underwear drawer and the fish sauce in the heating intake of his car. I could go on. Not as satisfying as dropping a sledge hammer on his head -granted, but there is endless opportunities!

i would seriously consider looking for somewhere else he sounds like a total degenerate that does not have any idea about equine behavior the lack of remorse makes me worry about what he does not mention to you , you and your horses deserve to be happy and safe . keep your chin up oh and his if you get the chance

thanks guys, i was just utterly gobsmacked. ive bred my filly myself, and i always thought it would be nice because i know nothing bad has ever happened to her!

said foal is going in with theirs at the weekend, so they have no reason to be in my field at all. luckily my filly seemed none the worse for this episode, but time will tell i guess.

sorry but punching a horse in the face is animal abuse and why is your mum going with such a prat hate to think how he teachies or treats his own

What the *******! If I found out someone had punched my horse in the face, said person would not live very much longer to tell the tale! Who the hell does he think he is? And he said he'd happily do it again? Words fail :(

Thats awful, I would torture the b*stard, hope you get it sorted.

Reading some of the replies of what people would do to him I can not stop laughing...

Something my aunt suggested to me when somebody when an ex-housemate was doing everything within their power to make my life miserable, to the extent that I was contemplating just leaving uni go escape them.

Clean the bathroom...with their toothbrush.

It's the same treatment her ex-husband received when she found he was cheating on her... apparently it's very satisfying to know what they're rubbing around their mouth. ;)
