You are all joking surely? I'll accept that she's managed to train her cob to do tricks taking some talent - but trained to rear???? Thats a silly irresponsible thing to do IMO.
 
I didn't like it - I think the cob looked annoyed and irritated - especially with the "spanish walk" attempt...I wouldn't want to own any horse after it had been in her hands, and as for the severe bow to get a treat - looked very painful and un-natural for the horse. Not impressed.
 
I thought it was awful. The 'Spanish walk ' was'nt the rearing was dangerous [levade and passade are not like that] and i happen to respect my horses as the noble creatures they are and would hate to make them grovel and beg on the floor.
If that person was doing 'roll kur ' you all be spitting tacks, no she only had the horse with it neck under its body and you think thats amazing????????
When you see real work in hand then maybe you'd understand the true meaning of the art.
 
Sorry but I am with partoow on that...I have had the honour to work with people who teach levade, capriole, etc and they would die if they thought that that work was akin to theirs!
 
It is awful, in a 'see something and try to copy it' kind of way. However hats off to her, she clearly has a bond with her horse and is trying - just needs some guidance and direction, just think what they could achieve then

Weezy - I rarely disagree with you, and certainly hope that you are not agreeing to partoow's comment on a whole, as I personally found it a very personally insulting comment - very assuming and degrading.
 
I made no assumptions as there were none to be made! As for being rude i said nothing that was not true and stand TOTALLY by my comments. Ignorance is not bliss and this is a living breathing animal and just because it is a girl that is doing these things it does not negate the responsibility of the owner to work the horse responsibly and im sure when the horse is inflicted with this work he does'nt think' oh it ok its only a girl doing these things to me, does'nt really hurt'. Ignorance is not bliss.
No doupt in your world 13yr old boys who mug grannies did'nt really inflict pain and suffering because they were just boys??????

Like you said this is an open forum and you have your rights to think what you like . thankfully i have a yard of happy healthy horses ridden by reponsible unassuming owners. Certainly would not have this 'circus ' .
Still nothing rude said, but excuse me i did'nt go ahh how cute so i must be rude. Good job the horse cant speak then maybe we;d find out what rude was??
