Do you ever have nightmares about your horse, that you are convinced are real?

Last night I dreamt that Ned had died outside the stables, after being hit by a car. It was horrific. His blood stained tack (why he was wearing tack?!) was brought to my house, but there was no way I could get to the yard before he died.
Call me silly, but I'm actually scared to go to the yard in case it wasn't a dream
I don't want it to be like when Blobby and Archie died, suddenly their faces weren't at their doors or in the fields and I didn't even get to say goodbye.

Bah, just feeling like an emotional wreck this morning, over a stupid dream.
Pointless thread, but I just needed to tell somebody

I have a dream about a horse everynight without fail. Once i had a dream similar to yours, horse bolts down lane, tyres screech ect ect. I woke up, stretched then heard a loud neigh and hoofbeats through the open window. I live in a built up eastate. Nearest horse is mine. So i jumped out of bed in my jammies, ran full pelt to the yard. On the way saw hoofprints and poop. Was convinced he'd got out, tried to walk to mine but been hit. Got to the yard, tears, screaming his name and then he popped his head out from a bush he'd been eating.

I told him off for scaring me but to this day i have no idea whos the horses were and i never saw them. On the way back i saw foal prints and foal poop so must have been alot of them

I'll bet you had that dream from reading the posts on your coming back from a recovery thread! I know the racehorse with the severed arteries was particularly memorable. Amazing, but I expect your brain was just processing the info. Doesn't mean anything bad is going to happen to him

If my dream last night is anything to go by i would say they are NOT going to happen.... I was having a bath on a stage infront of a cheering audience.... Shaving my legs the lot! Hehe.
It is horrible though when bad dreams are so real. i once dreamt that i'd cheated on my OH and felt guilty about it all day. Odd.
Hope you get a better sleep tonight. : )
