So I can really sympathise - it's horrible isn't it. You feel so helpless and guilty and miserable. Hugs.

Im in the same place as you .My horse had surgery for hock fusion jan I have started hacking him out and tonight he has punctured his hoof on a nail.Vets out again in the morning more xrays .So far he has done a ligament ,tendon (minor tear), cannon bone bruising,he hooked his bridle on bolt and pulled the door off sending it into orbit just missing me and cutting his mouth, bruised soles , last month he blacked my eye and now this.He also manaaged to bruise my daughters mares tendon I assume he did it hes done everything else all in 2 1/2 years.Hes just turned 7 I keep hoping that we have come to the end of the injuries but they still keep turning up.Im beginning to wonder if I should have horses hes my first and although I think the world of him I dont know how much longer I can hang on.
