Absolutely Horrific

Yes this came through on kent equine grapevine this morning , with a very graphic picture, so sad, these thugs need putting away. Poor little thing and poor child.
 
That is sick. How upsetting, that poor poor pony and her foal. Its things like this that make me not want to leave my shetlands out over night.

If caught it'd be nice if those thugs got a battering.
 
All these youths that are drunk with nothing better to do need to be sent to the army or build the country for free!
 
Words fail me:( RIP little pony, no living thing deserves treatment like this, huge sympathy for the little girl and her family, I know from exprience how ponies can help children with health issues, the world can be such a cruel place at times.
 
Due to a recent local incident (pony stabbed and had to be PTS) we have been talking about just this sort of thing tonight when I popped up to my old yard.

I honestly don't know, as an owner, how you ever get over this type of trauma. It's difficult enough to make a conscious decision to have your horse PTS but to know he or she died at the hands of others, in a traumatic way, just doesn't bear thinking about.
 
I have seen this posted a few times on fb, I still cant summon the words to describe how disgusted and horrified I feel. I can, however, summon the words to describe the people who did it, unfortunately I can't post that on here or I would get banned!
 
There is someone walking around out there who is a danger to the public! Its been proven that murderers and rapists start with animals :(. Who ever it was really needs to be found, as they must have something very very wrong in their brain to do something like that
 
With any luck karma will have the perpertrators. At least the kid is too young to understand or remember what happened. The increasing reports of such attacks really are quite alarming though. At least generally when you know your pride and joy is on a livery yard it's safe but there are so many of us who have horses in fields away from that secure situation too. And you must never know who stops by to interfere.

Poor pony.
 
What is wrong with these people. I never understand how anyone can do things like this to any animal or person. As "emmasmummy" says there is clearly a very dangerous person out there. I hope they get caught and if not karma will sort it out. Poor kid. What a horrible horrible situation.
 
From someone so close to this incident (less then 10 minutes away) it is so worrying and makes me tempted to camp down my yard to insure my horses stay safe!

A lot of people I know are asking for any info from anyone who may have known who was responsible as they'd love to get their hands on the sick indervidual who did this to that poor pony :(
 
Oh my, that bought tears to my eyes, I have no words, this is utterly devastating and sickening. Poor, poor little angel.
How anybody could be so evil to harm any innocent and loving animal. I hope she is in a much better place.

There has been another incident apparently at the back of the field where this hapened, a pony was shot in the face last night/this morning.
Details ate quite vague but it is being rumored that somebody might have a grudge agaist these people, which obviously does not excuse this being taken out on the poor animals that have been involved is these horrific events. So sad
 
And according to H&H another horse had to be put down in Barnsley due to been stabbed. Its bad enough horses being attacked by dogs but for a human being to do such an horrific attack on defenceless animals is beyond me. They should rot in hell rotten bs

I was thinking the very same very dangerous person in the making :(
 
I would happily carry out the death sentence on the person/persons who did this. As others have said, serial killers and the like usually start on animals.

Surely they wouldn't keep it in the same place? I hope they put it in livery where it can be stabled at night. If that happened to any of the horses here, I would never turn out at night or even when I'm out, again.
