Acavallo gel risers

Horse is constantly changing shape so I have gotten one of the Acavallo gel front risers while in between gullet sizes but wanted to ask, do people put them underneath the numnah or on top? Sounds like such a silly question because I know with half pads and foam risers they go between the numnah and the saddle however all of the online photos show the gel pad being placed directly on the withers so I have idea which is correct now! Thanks

I use one because Millie is bum high. I put it over the saddlepad. I wouldn’t want the gel next to the skin/hair.

Okay thank you! I was thinking the exact same, wondering why they put the photos online as directly on the horse’s withers

On top of the numnah but it's not a product I recommend. See how you get on with it but a good shim pad is a much better option, though pricier of course.
