Some of you may have read my previous posts about me breaking my back three years ago and getting my confidence back on the horse that threw me, update on that is I'm doing brilliantly improving every day and my mare is being a little star! Last night my friends horse bolted in the field, I was on the ground and the horse made a beeline for me flat out, missed me then went round for another go, got me square on in the back, spun me round and I flew through the air landing flat on my face, my neck cracked really loud and she stood on my leg. Luckily I had my hat on, generally do when around the horses, couldn't believe she did this though, never known a horse go for you like that before. She wasn't malicious just really panicked so praps wasn't aware what she was doing or going too fast to do anything about it. Crazy thing was as soon as she'd floored me she stopped! I'm in serious pain with whiplash now, sore back and can't lift my arms, went to work today but really tired and brain not working properly, very odd. My friend feels awful but it wasn't her fault.
