Hi everyone, I wondered if anybody can help me? I'm looking for some accommodation in either the Hampshire or South Oxfordshire/Berkshire areas, where perhaps somebody has an annexe or cottage on their land that they are looking to reduce rent on in exchange for help with their horses. Basically accommodation in exchange for some work.
I have applied for a couple on yard and groom, but I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere else I can try? I come with a long and legitimate set of references, I used to be a groom and do a lot of house sitting of about every animal you can think of that it is possible to domesticate.
I have a potentially new and exciting job that involves scooting around these areas of countryside, but not currently a generous budget so I wondered if exchanging skills for a roof is a thing people do?
That and I'm just desperate for a change of scene, I've felt for a long time that I'm going a bit stale where I am!
