Maybe this ought to be in vet section! My hips and knees and sometimes ankles have started to hurt when I ride for any lenght of time. Has anyone any suggestions other than stop riding! I already have flexi-stirrups, would a seat saver help? I have experimented with different lenghts of stirrup and the only thing that really helps is riding with my knees hooked over the front of the saddle which isn't very secure or comfortable for the pony i should imagine!

I have used a heather moffat seat saver, they're pricey but soo comfy! well worth the money. Also,I have been told those endurance stirrup cages are good for achy joints.

Tesco do a glucosamine and cod liver oil tablet (combined) about £3.99 for 30 tablets - I have been taking them recently and have noticed an improvement in my aches and pains (ahh!)
