Ackworth Pleasure Ride - Spudcam!

We had an excellent end to the season yesterday at Ackworth - the going and the weather was perfect. This ride was postponed from earlier in the year due to a new road being put in, and we hope to run it as a competitive ride again next year.

Harry kept telling me that 23yo horses should be allowed to canter everywhere

and we had a really good time. I do love that horse. Had a bit of a crisis later on as our friend's horse got loose but Super-Spud went after him and saved the day, catching him before he got onto the busy main road.

You cover some amazing countryside on your rides, love the way his ears are pricked all the way through. Did you have to duck through those woods? It looked rather overgrown but stunning autumn colours.
