ACP ?????

I'm confused, one vet previously told me to give my horse ACP 2 hours before I clipped him and that it would last for 4-6 hours.

My horse is now coming back into work after a bone chip and the vet has given me ACP, however everyone at he yard thinks it only takes 30mins to get in their system.

Does anyone know????

Hmmm... perhaps it depends on what form the ACP takes? My vet used to give me pills and they took about a 1/2 hour to take effect, but presumably your vet knows what he/she is talking about. Perhaps you could ring up and check?

My vet gave me acp for clipping my horse's head and told me to give them 20 mins before hand
